It's not so much the price, it's that there are so many people who think spending £125 on a tacky, cheaply made, polyester t-shirt is a totally logical thing to do. These people are dangerous.

The best thing to do is to obtain their details from the retailers, track them down, and isolate them from the rest of society to limit their spread in the gene pool. That may seem harsh, but that's how serious this is.

Doesn’t really go far enough though, any adult (18+) wearing a replica shirt anywhere other than a gym or five-a-side pitch should be treated with suspicion

Exactly. This is what Prevent should really be focusing on. I'd even suggest that offenders have the vote removed.

I think it’s fine wearing replica kits on match day but if I see a 40+ geezer wearing one at a pub of an evening or out shopping etc then the eyebrows are raised.
