Re: Ollie O’Neill
I presume the reason the match with Exeter is off is because Sotirou, O'Neill and Obiero are the three called up

He was terrific. He now looks physically and mentally jaded, understandably.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2024 6:30 pmHe deserves it . Ollie has been terrific for us since he arrived .
Could have done with the weekend off. Never mind.

How times have changed, I remember playing on a Saturday and Sunday whilst holding a job down. I dunno these days players play two games in a week and there mentally and physically knackered. Wonder how emergency doctors and nurses working 48/58 hours a week feel about that

Re: Ollie O’Neill
I thought the game was called off before we knew about the call ups. Maybe it was because of Exeter call upsHolybourne Identity wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2024 9:31 am I presume the reason the match with Exeter is off is because Sotirou, O'Neill and Obiero are the three called up

Clubs and players are told of international selection before it becomes public domain.Story of O wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2024 12:39 pmI thought the game was called off before we knew about the call ups. Re: Ollie O’Neill
Out today because of a slight hamstring injury . Its touch and go whether he'll be fit enough to play against Lincoln . Honestly , I can't remember a season like this one when we've had so many key players out injured . The fact we're 10th is testimony to just how hard our players have worked this season . I'm very pleased with them all .

2011/12 was similar IMO. Slade did wonder’s getting loanees in and keeping us in L1.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2024 6:45 pm Out today because of a slight hamstring injury . Re: Ollie O’Neill
It’s a vicious circle. Once you have an injury or two, other players are overused to make up for their absence and pick up injuries through over use.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2024 6:45 pm Out today because of a slight hamstring injury .
