Men v boys?
Bad ref, but some of our players bottled it once they got a bit of rough treatment.. Hopefully next year we get a decent keeper, does he ever save a corner or shot?

I don't know how you can say we bottled it . We were all over them in the second half but just couldn't find a way through .

Just have a search of Eggski’s posts. Slagging off RW and the goalkeeper is a trend as well as our style. If ever someone didn’t understand anything about football. Ignore

Re: Men v boys?
Bottled it? No they gave it a damn good shot particularly second half where BR barely got out their half which is why although disappointed in the result I'm accepting of it as "one of those days"
Just tired legs not quite at full pelt and lacking that bit of physicality upfront. All comes back to that January window really, it's those small margins that make the difference when push comes to shove. Even Drinan upfront yesterday would've given us something extra in physical presence.

Don't know if you watched the same second half as me. It was just one of those games, how you can say we bottled it, I really don't know.
Re: Men v boys?
Think RW summed it all up - we were the better side, most possession and on another day would have scored 3 or 4 goals comfortably. Everyone played well, worked hard and gave their all - although some of them eg O'Neill and Forde hadn't got too much to give - we've had to make huge demands on those 2 and they've remained free of injury so, there they are each week giving 90. It was 'just one of those games' - we would probably have missed a penalty!

Re: Men v boys?
This squad for all its weaknesses has been amazing this season so far. Yesterday was disappointing but to be where we are and still in with a shout of play offs is remarkable and a great testament to RW and the boys.
I really thought we would struggle this season especially after the first 2 months, but they have played out of their socks and I doff my cap to these guys, especially the keeper, a young lad still learning in each game has been for the vast majority solid, he has made a few errors but who in that squad has had a perfect season so far??
Keep going lads and don’t let your heads drop, I really do believe we can achieve great things this season!

The kid of post Egski is putting writing I'm sure it's a bloke called Lawrence goldblatt who is a Troll who lives in Thailand, he is also on the Leyton Orient supporter Facebook chat and posts negative b.llocks to get a reaction, similar comments like his Brynn comment.
Just ignore him & he'll soon get bored.

It’s almost certainly one of the many alias accounts which terrorise this board.Rich Tea Wellin wrote: ↑Sun Mar 03, 2024 8:37 am Just have a search of Eggski’s posts. Slagging off RW and the goalkeeper is a trend as well as our style. If ever someone didn’t understand anything about football. Ignore
