Re: What are you Watching Today Part 2
Mrs PJ binged Emily in Paris after one of her friends wouldn't stop going on about it. Watched some of it over her shoulder since it was on. Absolute dirge, main character is annoying as f***, why are the French nearly always speaking English even when they're alone and the main love interest in S2 and 3 was more Wooden than Epping Forest. 6/10.

Just finished watching John Carpenter's
"The Thing", seen it before a couple of times and still reckon it's the best sci-fi, horror film ever made.

At the risk of explaining away the mild humour, there’s a fairly established joke review format of following up an extreme review that suggests an extreme response, with a rating that suggests that it’s fine, actually

Re: What are you Watching Today Part 2
Watched a sky arts documentary on Woodstock 99.
That completely passed me by at the time, it's quite the watch. I thought the facilities at Glastonbury 86 were bad but this was something else.
If nu metal, rivers of excrement, misogyny and a drug fuelled destruction of the site is your thing, you won't be disappointed.

Says man who just went “wow, you don’t think men should be supported to have babies suck on their fake tits, well I guess you’ve shown your true colours”

Well yes, I’m not the one saying “maybe the men who want babies to suck hormone juice out of their fake tits are just trying to help!”

Wouldn’t want you making things up I haven’t said. I know you are easily wound up but wouldn’t want you banned for another week.
9/10
Re: What are you Watching Today Part 2
It’s in the trans debate thread, but i can see why you wouldn’t stand by it

Re: What are you Watching Today Part 2
So you can’t? Cool.
Because I didn’t say it and you know it. If you were so confident in your argument you wouldn’t have to make stuff up. I said “the veil slips” and you’ve quoted me as saying something offensive that I don’t agree with and didn’t say. Sounds like someone unhinged.
Reported and I’ll leave it there because this is a lighthearted thread that doesn’t need anymore of your weird obsessiveness.

Re: What are you Watching Today Part 2
Can you keep your bickering to the appropriate topics? Stop this harassment of different people across the board, its not nice and its not the way to win people over. You have strong views on the trans stuff, let's keep the debate there.CEB wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 10:31 pm

Watched the first two episodes of Sexy Beast looks promising. It’s based on the film with Ray Winston and Ben Kingsley
