Probably had an E15 postcode but the Dew Drop was one of those backstreet pubs that just don't exist anymore. They had ladies glasses which they had rummage around for on the rare occasions they were needed.

Is that glasses that you put a quid in and ladies took their clothes off, or actual spectacles for women?

A glass for a ladies drink but I'm assuming they had more than one. I don't actually recall what the ladies glasses looked like other than they were obviously half pint size.

That does seem like a more obvious answer, not sure what happened to my brain there.

Wakefield went ages ago, that was Grange Rd
When I was a kid there was a little bookies opposite the pub down a couple of steps.
My mum worked in that road too in the co-op chemist warehouse.
She lived in Grange Park Road as a youngster and Frank Muir of Call My Bluff fame lived fwo doors away.

Don’t remember that one🤔
It was the new name of The Alma in Church Rd.
Some names there that bring back memories.
Lord Clyde had a horrible outside toilet in the side turning that the Advance laundry was in.
Jointly owned at one time by TT and Tommy Cunningham, pub not the laundry
I lived in Vicarage Road so all those pubs were in easy walking distance, been in them all.
You must of gone to George Mitchell, cor blimey gov this is a right east end turn out
I did and Church Mead before that.

Church Mead for me and then George Mitchell followed by Leyton County High ( Lived in Grange Park road )
