Last night's fans' forum
Wondering what was said about our stadium move, Nigel's future, upgrades to Brisbane Road, ticket prices, new investors, the new training facility, and all the rest? You won't read a better summary than this:

Re: Last night's fans' forum
Nigel gestured at the room and said "many of us here won't be involved any more by the time it happens". It was one of the most poignant moments of the whole evening. He's 74.

Re: Last night's fans' forum
Excellent write up. Nigel's comment certainly makes you stand back and think. I'm 58 and hope to see us in a new stadium, playing in the championship and dare I say, maybe a chance of Prem football before I go to the big stadium in the sky.The Leyton Orientear wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 6:12 pmNigel gestured at the room and said "many of us here won't be involved any more by the time it happens". Hinting at bans for certain fanzine editors. Interesting. The Leyton Orientear wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 6:12 pmNigel gestured at the room and said "many of us here won't be involved any more by the time it happens". It was one of the most poignant moments of the whole evening. He's 74.

Like you I hope it happens sooner than later! I’ve got two years less than you to realise the dream!

I didn’t realise it was an open event, I assumed it was another of these covert, invite only affairs.

This - apart from using the name of the Mad Italian, I thought his name was never to be mentioned or written down ever again.Top of the JES wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 6:31 pm Thank you Leyton Laureate. One in a growing number of fantastic articles.

Re: Last night's fans' forum
Hearn did more damage to this football club than the mad Italian. We wouldn't have to be talking about moving from our wonderfully located ground if it wasn’t for him. Hearn has killed the future of Brisbane road, home of Leyton Orient, not Beccheti.EliotNes wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 11:34 pmThis - apart from using the name of the Mad Italian, I thought his name was never to be mentioned or written down ever again.Top of the JES wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 6:31 pm Thank you Leyton Laureate. Re: Last night's fans' forum
Do any stats exist re: how many O's fans live stream? Example last night, when Streaming was available in UK as well as the rest of the world. A new stadium - if I'm still alive then wouldn't be possible for me - a then 85 to be in London very much - but I never miss a live stream and assume at least some of my £10.00 goes to the club.

Not sure what angle this WUM is taking but it says right at the beginning of the article that they were there on behalf of the Orientear.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2024 2:58 pmHow did this Leyton Lauriate fella get an invite then?Long slender neck wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2024 2:51 pmIt wasnt open, was it? Hadn't read it - thanks.
Although says he was there with Orientear representatives, rather than on their behalf.

Re: Last night's fans' forum
Not going anywhere and have now read the (decent) article.
I was confused as initially thought it was a closed shop event, then saw it was at the Town Hall so assumed it was open, then told it was at the Town Hall but closed. How many reps can the Orientear and Panda have?

I’m sure I went to one of the earliest ones that was run by Milanese. Feels like a fever dream though
