Apart from Piggott, our summer transfers have been more or less great pieces of business (granted Sanders and Adyei have only shown it in glimpses due to injuries).

Huge credit to Ruel as well. Has his doubters and I can be one of them at times, but two superb goals tonight.

Yeah, good shout for Galbraith for MOTM. For all the great offensive play, his highlight was that block tackle on the penalty spot in the second half to prevent a clear goal scoring chance. Great game.

Given the amount of bitching that happens about Ling's recruitment, he deserves huge credit for spotting what a player O'Neil looks like. He was immense tonight.

He was ‘spotted’ in the Mickey Mouse game against us, wasn’t he? Not sure how ling gets the credit for that.

I can't see Omar playing on Saturday, he was struggling all game and was on his haunches in the last minute or so.

Sickener for Theo. Hope he gets a new deal despite that, has worked his arse off throughout the good periods and bad, and whilst I think he long term is a back up player, is a really good player to have.

Believe so. Signed for two years in 2022, don't know if we've extended at any point. Can't imagine they'd release him even if the injury is bad as feared.
