Great finish from Haller for the winner. Amazing story for him personally and Ivory Coast in general, especially with a guy who'd never coached a senior game eventually taking the reins - don't think a side has ever suffered such a pumping and then gone on to win it.

Also, Cup is superfluous since the C in AFCON stands for 'Cup'. :geek:

The overall standard throughout the tournament was of a fairly low standard. Those players are certainly taught how to dive when touched.

Most of those African sides would just about make it in the National League. Cloggers the lot of them.

Thirty Premiership players travelled over for the contest. Would have been more but for injuries..
