Barnet v Wealdstone on Saturday
Adam Thompson’s debut for Barnet on Saturday had a fairly lively ending as Wealdstone grabbed a late equaliser, which sparked a mini crowd invasion of Wealdstone fans one of whom attacked a steward on the pitch, having a set to as the Wealdstone players tried to break them up.
A flare was also thrown from the Barnet section which struck the Referee on the shoulder.
It’s on Utube if you wanna see it ………Apologies but I’m not sure how to copy the link.

The keeper jumping 3 foot off the ground is why they score for me.

What on earth was happening there? Had Wealdstone hired Rent-a-mob for a couple of hours on Saturday afternoon? And what was the keeper doing? Bizarre.

Thompson didn't cover himself in glory but if the keeper doesn't bizarrely jump over the ball they get away with that. Entirely his fault.
Also, that was a terrible penalty.

Totally the keepers fault.Proposition Joe wrote: ↑Tue Feb 06, 2024 4:12 pm Thompson didn't cover himself in glory but if the keeper doesn't bizarrely jump over the ball they get away with that. Entirely his fault.

Not great from Thompson but does enough to limit the striker to a back pass which the keeper would have picked up if he hadn't come charging out like that.
