He's come from Afghanistan. He has converted to Christianity ( to aid granting of asylum?). In Afghanistan, conversion to Christianity = death sentence!

This sickening case is like a tick box of everything likely to lead to a poisonous discourse that overshadows the victims. Also, he sounds like a real c*nt.

He should have been arrested and chucked out of the country just for that fringe alone.

This is utterly horrific.
And how the hell is a guy who has managed to do that to his own face still walking around?

Small detail, but I like the fact he bought the water in that Tesco. Just swiping it and legging it would seem the more obvious choice but Mr Most Wanted With A Hideous Alkaline Facial Wound obviously just wanted to blend in and not raise further suspicions.

Probably spent the same on that one bottle as he would have on a whole meal deal - I’m not sure he’s mentally stable.

Absolutely shocking incident.
Assume that the poor woman and kids that were involved were ‘known’ to him in some way and not just poor random victims.
He’s got previous for sexual crimes allegedly but has been allowed to stay here.

He was convicted of " flashing " :- reported by the BBC
If the the lady & 2 little kids took the brunt of his caustic substance, God knows what it has done to them ( but hopefully the worse was irrigated off by decent folk ). He hasn't benefitted from irrigation ( I hope it causes him immense pain )
This burn on his face is doing more for him than the Christian Instruction he received ( Divine retribution ).
He obviously badly misunderstood Christ's lesson saying " Suffer little children to come unto me". I hope they catch the git speedo- I would have no compunction in sending him back to his misogynistic mates in Afghanistan, there they can deal with his " conversion " to Christianity in their way.

No surprise to see some Tories already zoning in on the "how did he get granted asylum?!" issue. Maybe wait for the guy to get caught, convicted and then have a full review. Lots to consider, such as whether he was effectively sentenced (court issues and prison overcrowding caused by...this Government) and supervised by probation appropriately (services hacked to the bone by...this Government).

Was watching 24hrs in Police Custody the other night and was genuinely surprised by how much info Plod had access to, such as real time mobile phone usage and card payments. With all that kind of intel, plus the huge great identifying feature he appears to have, agree it seems odd that he's managed to successfully go to ground for over a day.

Someone might have had the wool pulled over their eyes...

Abdul Shakoor Ezedi, 35, told a shopkeeper at his favourite Middle Eastern speciality food store - where he bought Halal meat - how he planned to one day return to Afghanistan “to find a wife”.

Staff at the Byker butcher shop in the east of Newcastle, where Ezedi lived for about a year, said they were “horrified” that the pizza takeaway chef had been connected to the attack because he was a “good Muslim”.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, the Halal butcher, who is a Kurdish Iranian, said Ezedi would pay £50 to £60 for a half a Halal sheep which he put in his freezer and would last a couple of weeks.

So we've given asylum to a sex offender, pretending to be a Christian, who isnt worried about returning to Afghanistan? It is shocking what a soft touch this country is.
