When does a feud become harassment?

There isn’t even a feud. There is no area of substance where I’m at odds with him. It’s like a slow bit of nuclear fallout from the actual dispute I had with LSN, which we actually worked out between us over DM (and even that dispute didn’t stop us chatting about video games and films on various other threads)
Because for some reason, Rev out himself at the centre of it with a needless fixation on the idea that I had the nerve to call out a MOD, and hasn’t let it go since.
Every time I’ve let it go, he’s either decided that the next account that takes issue with him is me in disguise, or gone evangelical about me like an antiCEB Jehovah’s Witness “ah, I see you are not enjoying the message board - can I bring you the bad news about our toxic nemesis CEB - join me in calling for him to be banned and life will be so much better!”

Its very simple Rev, just stop posting about ceb, then he'll stop irritating you. I think this is the best way forward.

I can say that I commit entirely to not talking about, liking, engaging with him on any level, nor referring to him, if he keeps a lid on the “CEB’s toxic manipulative bla bla”

From now until 23:59 on Sunday 28th Jan 2024

1. I won’t reply to your posts
2. I won’t mention you in any other posts to any other user
3. I won’t like any of your posts, new or historic ones
4. I won’t message you via the DM function
5. I won’t mention or allude to you or your behaviour in any way (this includes explanations about the feud and the creation of things like YouTube videos mentioning posts from this board)

I will agree to all of the above if you also agree to do the same. If we both stick to these 5 points from now until the date mentioned it proves that we are both serious about dropping this. If one of us breaks any of these then it proves that the one breaking them does want to continue the feud.

I think is a fair arrangement. Do you agree?

I don’t care if it ends. I’ve just told you that if you don’t talk about me any more, then I will not “like” your posts or engage. My position is that in perpetuity, I am entirely comfortable with having absolutely nothing to do with you, but I really couldn’t care less whether you do or don’t. It’s just quite laughable that the guy claiming harrassment “WAAY beyond comments” doesn’t want to look past Sunday evening before he reckons he might fancy trying another back and forth.

And that’s the reason the “likes” bother you; it’s an engagement from me that says “I see what you’re doing, but I’m not giving you the endorphin rush”

I picked Sunday because it’s a reasonable short timeframe to prove that we’re both serious about ending it.

I tried ignoring you on two occasions recently and you continued with the liking my unrelated historic comments tactic.

I’m genuinely trying to reach a sensible agreement here. I’m perfectly willing to commit to the very clear stipulations above. If I break one of them then it would prove your theory that I’m the one instigating this. Are you willing to bind to the same stipulations? It’s a fair and equal measure. Are you in or not?
