The '80s weren't such a bad decade (unless you were an Orient fan of course with the drop into the 4th tier for the first time in our history).

But getting to stay up late on a school night and watching with my wonderful parents The Equalizer (starring Edward Woodward) with this intro music still sends shivers down my spine 40 years on!!

Was a great show as was the joke. Do you know what Edward Woodward would be called without the letter D. Ewar Woowar.

As for theme tunes, Magnum PI was never bettered.
