Platform 7 on ITV is a tidy little 4-parter starring Jasmin Jobson - who was also brilliant in Top Boy

A Man Called Otto- Tom Hanks miscast as a grumpy old man, who is angry about stuff and depressed. Can his 2D neighbours win him over? A bloated Nepo Baby Hanks cast as same character in flashbacks. A trans character shoehorned in because? This was pretty terrible.

I've heard it's awful. Apparently the Swedish original is supposed to be worth watching.

Have never watched Traitors as Claudia Winkleman makes me feel nauseous. Have seen lots of trailers for it though and my question is; are the contestants really ordinary members of the public or are they really hammy am dram actors?

Does not compute. PJ Clauds.
Also, can't vouch for all of them, but yes, they're real people rather than actors.

Define ordinary members of the public? No, they're not actors (although there was one in the first series who had been an extra in Eastenders).
They obviously go through a selection process to make sure they get 'characters' in there.

The usual sorts you'd expect on reality tv shows. There were a couple of actors in the first series.

Re: What are you Watching Today Part 2
I have finally got around to watching Traitors S1. Like it a lot (especially the fragrant Claudia).
I worry a bit whether it can sustain it - as it's essentially a lesson in the power people copying each others opinions and, when there's enough with that opinion, persuading each other that it's a fact.

Thanks for the Fisk recommendation, I’ve finished both series - very good.

Finished such brave girls on iplayer. Trailer made it look awful but I enjoyed it.
Some misses but very different and outrageous at points. Felt sick and laughed in equal measure.
Hope there’s a second series

Bit of a sucker for the Netflix series on American sports like Last Chance U so polished off the Untold episodes on the Florida Gators. Affable bunch, Tim Tebow came across well. Can never get my head around how big College sports are in the US.
