In the scenario we don't it has to be a priority to find a player in an identical mould i.e. physically imposing and leading midfield. Won't come cheap but it's absolutely vital

He's got a year's contract.
He will be paid the full contract.
Will leave fully paid up In January or June.
May as well keep him till then

Interesting thought, he would be coming towards end of contract soon too I think? Whether he'd come back to Orient after whatever the "behind the scenes" issues were when we missed out on him is another matter

Of our high earning midfielders, Pratley is not an issue - he has contributed massively this season, much more than I had expected.

What January is he contracted to?

I thought he had a years extension to June 2024?

His experience and footballing nous has proven to be very valuable. The Bolton game is a great example of this, he played a huge role in calming everyone down and tightening up the midfield. He was instrumental in a vastly improved second half performance. I still think we were incredibly unlucky not to have got a point from that game.

Why are you talking about paying him up in full now and releasing him?

I just mentioned it.
Worth keeping & wasn't sure if faith was thinking
Of getting rid of him to free up budget now.

Then you started your questioning.

Also He isn't in the Highest earners bracket

Darren is still an important member of our squad . Whatever happens to him next won't happen until the Summer when he might want to start a career in coaching.

Absolutely.

I can't believe people are genuinely considering otherwise. (Possibly this is just another of tuffers hilarious wums).
