There is indeed some praise on the ratings thread- and rightly so after a decent win.
However, it strikes me the board is 4 times as busy after a defeat. Granted, people "tend" to take to the internet to write negative stuff, but, when we've played poorly some are starting threads on here before the game has even finished.

It's like they can't wait to put the boot into the club that they claim to support.

I think you'd see this on any footie forum though, I don't think our fans are any different in that respect.

There's simply more to critique when we've played badly and everyone has a view on what could be changed to make it better.

I'm interested in those views because there's always room for improvement and simply posting that we're awesome when we win is okay, but doesn't really contribute much to the debate. I don't think the absence of threads like that though mean that we're less happy when we win than we actually are.

Personally, this is an unfair statement. Over many matches, I post about the same frequency whether we win or lose.

If you think it's unfair -fine. I respect, but don't necessarily agree with, your view.

It's just the impression I get. You've posted to defend yourself - fine. I see it differently. My reckoning is your more erudite posting is all centred around throwing barbs at the club and whining negatvity. The rest is scarce and seems begrudging. Don't worry, moaning isnt a crime. Some people aren't happy unless they're moaning - I get it.

As for "attention seeking". You have my assurance that if this was something I sought in my life, the last place I would rock up to do that would be a lower divisions football club message board on the internet. You may choose differently.
