Probably my favourite away day ever.

Wolves 1-1 Orient. Ended the year top of the table in front of
28,500 fans. Not sure how we survived the barrage on our goal first half but a real fighting spirit got us through like many times that season.

We should have won that. The final 15 mins were ours.
Slade failed to sub poor ol’ KL who was knackered. Should have brought on ANY sub.

I'll never know or understand why "Frenchie" Baudry was in the Wolves penalty area when he was, but I'm glad he was. A great away day. No. 1 daughter came with me that day.

Actually we didn’t end the year top of the table because Brentford beat MK Dons that day and replaced us as leaders.
I was at the game - brilliant atmosphere and agree that the Os weathered storm and could have won the game at the end.
