Re: Who will join in January?
Glaringly in need of a striker to at least be in with a sniff when a ball is put in and not waste chances made. Why Galbraith was substituted was a mystery, thought he was one of the best on the pitch.

Re: Who will join in January?
He has been recalled by Spurs as they are to lose Son for a month in the African cup. Very doubtful he will sign for Orient. Ipswich wanted to keep him.

Kirk is an interesting one. Recently released by Charlton so no transfer fee. Hardly a goal machine and not exactly proven at league 1 level. Can see him looking to head back north as it hasn’t worked out in London for him.

Exactly . I didn't know South Korea was in Africa. I don't know but maybe it's possible Spurs have recalled Scarlett because he wasn't playing . At Orient I'd imagine he'd be in the team every game .Long slender neck wrote: ↑Wed Dec 27, 2023 6:13 pmIs Son African?moonwalk19 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 27, 2023 5:04 pmHe has been recalled by Spurs as they are to lose Son for a month in the African cup. A good player but after his heart surgery I would be a bit jittery signing him . Anyway , I wonder what his fitness level is at the moment . Whoever we sign we need them ready to playWhetstoneO wrote: ↑Thu Dec 28, 2023 9:00 pm Anyone know if Harry McKirdy is fit again after his heart surgery? Re: Who will join in January?
Im not sure a new CF on his own will do much, because we dont make many chances. We need a few players including a decent number 10, and a left back

Re: Who will join in January?
Kelman nailed on to join us, almost happened in the summer, now with Ruel & Drinan both out for weeks/months I expect this one to happen early in the window.
Unusually for us, he’s not injured and match fit!

Re: Who will join in January?
With no prospect of going up and limited chance of going down, I hope any signings we make are geared towards improving the team into next season. A couple of forgettable loan players isn’t going to achieve a lot. Maybe if we shift Moncur in the window, that would free up budget for a more marquee signing.
Realistically, to build a team capable of challenging for top 7 next season, we’ll at least need a new full back, a pacy winger, a sh*t-hot centre mid and a proper goalscoring striker.

Re: Who will join in January?
Re Moncur, you’d think they’d be some club rule re carry extra poundage. The guy looked like he’s got 6 extra large Xmas puds strapped to his body!
Completely unfit & waste of space.
Needs shifting out as soon as.

you haven’t got a clue how he operates, you’ve never asked him. I respect your opinion though.ComeOnYouOs wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 9:45 amKnowing the way Ling operates, that wont happenStory of O wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 7:57 am Hopefully we have a few already signed up and ready to join next week
