What part of ‘transfer committee’ is your brain not understanding?Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2023 4:19 pmYes he did and you know it, you’re just being pedantic, so we don’t score a lot of goals last season and he brings in a plethora of midfielders when everyone knew we were crying out for forwards.i respect your views but I don’t agree.BiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2023 4:04 pmDid he? There is a transfer committee. They make their decisions based on value to the club and he bases his on who he wants.
The defence are the same as last season and the GK coach recommended Brynn.
Forde had a half decent season in non-league. Howes had a half decent career in non-league.
We have 1 fit winger and are forced to play wing backs - not the formation he wants to play. When he does go 4 at the back, he’s forced to play strikers on the wings who both want to come inside.
We have a wage thief in the squad who is supposed to be the creative hub but he does f*** all other than eat.
Orient are exactly where everyone expected them to be come the end of the season.

Yes.
Done it in a 50-50 shoulder to shoulder challenge. Won the ball but went down after and couldn’t run it off.

We’re all Orient supporters, just because you go to an away game doesn’t make you more of a supporter than someone who chooses not to go to the game.B.whitehouse+10more wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2023 4:34 pmProper Orient supporters

Re: Exiles thread - Bolton (A)
Wellens has gone back to his ideal football taking Piggot off, he was the foil for the others, I know he isn't massively liked on here but he creates spaces for others, six foot bloke off for a small winger/striker In Ayegi, Wellens just can't help himself, he is so stuck in his footballing ideology and won't budge and be dynamic

IMO, He should have been on after 60-65 mins, not with just 18 left to playRedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2023 4:38 pm Agyei on for Pigott . At least we now have more of a goal scoring threat .

Exactly! What was on the pitch was working but Wellens seems uncomfortable with having a big bloke up top and has now gone back to his pure football.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2023 4:41 pm What are you wittering on about?

Amazing what happens when ruel is not in the middle miscontrolling every ball or tripping over his own feet. He scores the odd goal but our play breaks down too often when he is on the pitch.

Sorry, but I feel you’re in the vast minority in your admiration of Pigott.essexfootball wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2023 4:39 pm Wellens has gone back to his ideal football taking Piggot off, he was the foil for the others, I know he isn't massively liked on here but he creates spaces for others, six foot bloke off for a small winger/striker In Ayegi, Wellens just can't help himself, he is so stuck in his footballing ideology and won't budge and be dynamic

It's not admiration of Piggot as such it's the balance he brings or a player of that ilk, there are lots of talented players but you need something to tie it together

The odd pass here and there isn't anywhere near good enough for the supposed first choice striker who's there to score goalsessexfootball wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2023 4:51 pmIt's not admiration of Piggot as such it's the balance he brings or a player of that ilk, there are lots of talented players but you need something to tie it together
