Re: Who will join in January?
Three possibilities I can envision:
Cast off journeyman from larger League 1 side like Derby/Pompey
18 year old striker on loan from Championship side who’ll start once then maybe get a couple of sub appearances
Complete unknown from southern non league side who gets sold for a loss in 18 months

Re: Who will join in January?
We def need a LB, we don’t have one, Hunt is awful, Sweeney is not good enough, and we need James to play regularly at RB.
We all know how bad we need a Striker
And we need an attacking wide player
Ship out
Hunt, Thompson, Drinan

Re: Who will join in January?
1 x journeyman striker with dodgy injury record
1 x youth winger from Spurs or similar who doesn't play
1 x random CB in the Cooper mould
1 x random NL kid who we never see again like Ethan Light

RW (post match Bolton): "We don`t have much to spend. We have players at the club who are not playing. They are using up the wage bill. It is something we have to look over the next two weeks. We need two or three in".

Add Happe to that too who doesn't seem to want to be here, would've retracted his offer in summer after he delayed on signing tbh

Re: Who will join in January?
Good question, Turns seems to have struggled with L1 was basically 4th choice until Cooper fancied getting Christmas off

Re: Who will join in January?
Turns has been mainly bad for us this season.
We will bring in another winger, like we did with Sadlier last season. That's the crucial one imo, the position where the lack of depth has resulted in us looking slow and predictable in attack, and the position that is key to how Wellens sets up. Even with Agyei back, we can't go into the second half of the season one injury away from being short there.
We could probably do with another striker but dunno if that's possible with 3 no.9s on the books plus Agyei as an option, and if we have decent wide options again our forwards may look better.
A full back would be good as Hunt and James have looked poor at times.
Centre back is a a tough one. No one's really looked good enough consistently but we have a lot of numbers back there and Cooper + Beckles probably can hack it.

Re: Who will join in January?
A winger
Maybe a cb if Cooper goes or they recall Turns
A real dm is needed, Prats is retiring soon, Brown is pap, might be an end of season job though

Re: Who will join in January?
Question is 'Who'. So far just a list of positions. Any named suggestions?

Re: Who will join in January?
We'll probably wait until the end of January because we always take ages to sign any players . It's the Orient way .
