Re: Will RW
Will the club stop wasting money on set piece coaches and get rid of the dead wood that are clearly not up to league1 standard.
Will the club spend money where it is clearly needed and bring in quality, proven players of League 1 or above that are not sick notes ?

They haven’t done so far and probably won’t happen in January.PoundhillO wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2023 5:23 pmWill the club stop wasting money on set piece coaches and get rid of the dead wood that are clearly not up to league1 standard.

If they did get rid of the dead wood how many players would we be left with?
Championship within 5 years? Surely a pipe dream!

Re: Will RW
We are obviously in the sh*t form wise but the way we started the game showed the players are still with him. Need to limp on till January and bring in 3 or 4 players who can shake things up a bit. Have to sign a striker and a winger at a minimum, but could also do with a full back who brings some solidity and an alternative to Moncur who knit things together in attack.
I love the man but Wellens is as unproven at this level as a lot of our players and he needs to adapt what we're doing to the squad we have. I really doubt he'll walk knowing that it'd basically get him back to a league 2 level job again.

Re: Will RW
Well he came to us in a far more dire position with a weaker squad so he backs himself in a scrap.
Will the club back him and be willing to write off some of the summer transfers? That's the big question.
