Why isnt Judd Playing?

Ling over Judd for me.

Was extremely good in the Cheltenham game.

Didn't see Cheltenham so can't comment. But it's extremely worrying if he can go from extremely good one week to extremely poor the next.

I think it might be that Ling’s seen as more mature than Judd in terms of the way he plays. Judd’s a bit headless for me and there have been times when the occasion has got the better of him. There was a comment from Justin last year about Judd playing for himself and needing to grow up a bit. Ling’s more dependable. Maybe not spectacular, but he doesn’t do anything silly and his temperament is rock solid. I reckon that’s why he gets the nod.

I think Judd is a better choice than Ling, but Ling gets the nod!

I dont want to think its nepotism, but I cant think of another reason.

Neither Ling nor Judd are great in my opinion. Judd is bigged up on here because Ling is perceived to be so poor. Judd has had as many shockers as Ling has for Orient.

There's a lot of extremely's in there. It's because he's extremely inconsistent that he's a League 2 footballer. IMO he just shades it over Judd, more importantly that's what JE & RE have thought.

Possibly, possibly not.

But he’s also had a lot more better games. And he’s 3 years younger. And is going to go on to be by far the better player.

That’s the truth. Judd has had his share of shockers but at least you get the feeling he is trying like hell to make things happen whereas Ling can be anonymous much of the time.

I honestly think that if Judd got a run in the team and stayed fit, he would be considered one of our best players. Think there's a real player in there (one most people were saying we should extend his contract not long ago) and he just hasn't had a run in the first team.

Unfortunately Ling will be back out there on saturday.

I honestly think that if Judd got a run in the team and stayed fit, he would be considered one of our best players. Think there's a real player in there (one most people were saying we should extend his contract not long ago) and he just hasn't had a run in the first team.

Unfortunately Ling will be back out there on saturday.

Having a player means nothing if he costs you points by lacking a yard or 2 of pace.

Management over the last year have decided that the players who play when all are fit, are the better percentage options.
Ling has performed reaeonably well over pre season & has had no blame whatsoever in any of the goals conceded this season.

A lot of people seem to think they have opinions better than employees of the club , trouble is they need to get there coaching badges & make themselves available for
the jobs.
They may well be better , but at the moment they are just opinionated fans .

Regardless of what we might think we are not in a position to influence.

As for Judd im not disagreeing about footballing ability
I just think ling has the better fitness & stamina levels & i doubt judd
would ever be able to get ahead of him on that, saying that i dont think
Liing would ever be in front of judd skill ability wise .

Overall id put lingy in front as his overall on both is better than judds overall on both.

Still its only opinion.
