What is the significance of your username?

Post by Hoover Attack »

My moniker is a nod to one of my favourite computer games Hover Attack, but I mis-spelt it when registering.

What’s yours?

Mine was very personal to me as a Leonard it was changed for some reason. I have not seen a Daily Express for years let alone read one. I don’t know what a bot is either.

I used to nick a Bonio from the big sack outside Crocombes in Francis Road and eat it (Lord knows why) on my way home from Newport school.

I cannot for the life of me, see why Little Ole Leyton Orient fans, need a nom de guerre to write anonymously, on a fans message board. It encourages younger and the more silly fans to be controversial or even nasty. I tried using my real name Clive Evans, hoping that fans would be " big " enough or sensible enough to follow suit. But, hey! We are talking about Orient here, and this thesis collapsed. So if you you can't beat 'em join 'em. So my name leaves you wondering whether or not I am a friendly guy or a plain hostile foe, here to wind you all up. I feel that I am now a lesser person being so sheep like.

Have never seen a live, pro game unless the Mighty Os were on the park.

CEB:-

Me:- Shakespeare liked to put it about that he was in the glove trade. But actually he was in the DIY business as everyone knows, there are 1000's of quotes about home improvement in his plays EG: Final scene Romeo & Juliet “A plague on both your houses”. " all that glisters isn't gold " a reference to bathroom plumbing in The Merchant Of Venice & another example of wildlife attracting from Othello," but I will wear my heart upon my sleeve
for daws to peck at; I am not what I am.” etc etc

I just made my username a football connection, ie: Liverpools Emlyn Hughes who was nicknamed, Crazy horse. Plus, I have a big interest in the wild West.
