I have some sympathy with this point of view

Re: AFC Fylde
If we do go up it won't be because of anything Fylde or any other club did. It'll be because we've been the best team over the season. The only favour Fylde did yesterday was for themselves. As to the Final, I want that double and I don't care who else goes up as long as we seal the deal v Braintree.

Re: AFC Fylde
Not absolutely 100% sure of this but AFC Fylde could be the first club to win the Vase and the Trophy. They won Vase in 2008 as Kirkham & Wesham and changed their name the following season.
North Ferriby United have made finals in both, but only won the Trophy.
Should be enough for Fylde to have won the vase and be in the trophy final...

Re: AFC Fylde
I would have thought that some of the clubs in the play offs, Fylde, Harrogate, Solihull would need to do serious Ground Improvements to be accepted into EFL L2 ??
My `choice` would be Wrexham but really i don`t give a toss who it is as long as we finish the job on Saturday.

The Football League require that the ground occupied by a club promoted to League 2 must have a certified capacity of at least 4,000 (with the ability to be increased to 5,000) which shall include at least 500 seats (with the ability to be increased to 1,000).
Harrogate (4,000) and Fylde (6,000) should be OK, not sure what their seating is. Solihull (3,050) are a fair bit lower and would need some serious work over the summer.
