Re: Labour Watch
Doesn't matter. The Labour party should be concerned with a Supreme Court ruling, which sits apart from our normal democratic system, that prevents workers from forming a union.

Re: Labour Watch
This is a shame as the union could protect their members insisting they all issued with protective clothing , had lights on their bicycles and mopeds , insurance and are paid minimum wage which I hear is not always the case.

Has Captain Hindsight come out and called for a ceasefire now that a ceasefire has been reached?

Re: Labour Watch
To be fair, after Hamas have agreed to release 50 hostages equally over 4 days, he's probably sitting tight to make sure they don't dump 12.5 Israelis on the border before commenting.

Re: Labour Watch
He’ll still appear as Labour on the ballot. Presumably he wins and then immediately has the whip withdrawn pending an investigation that won’t ever conclude and they’ll pick someone new for November
Would be wise for the crank left parties to start having words with him about defecting post getting elected

Assume it'll be in today's Mail since they were the ones who apparently found it. Although LAS saying it's nothing any worse than what was already said. Pretty to see them turning on Starmer at the first opportunity.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2024 10:26 pm What was the further information? That their initial response wasn’t firm enough.

Re: Labour Watch
Could be an interesting (or bin-fire, whichever way you want to describe it) by-election what with a disgraced Labour candidate, Galloway and former Labour sex pest Simon Danzcuk also in the mix for Lawrence Fox's crank right wing party.

Tough choice for the people of Rochdale!

Re: Labour Watch
I thought people in Rochdale might turn to the Liberals- Then I remembered that Cyril Smith was Rochdale's Liberal MP. I am now expecting a very low turnout of voters. Rochdale' s electorial options look about as grim as those in the USA.

Re: Labour Watch
Labour should have gone with a safe candidate who could connect with the local constituents without relying on anti-Semitic tropes and conspiracy theories. Like Suzy Izzard.
