As he is a Lord, does this mean the Commons cannot question him over Foreign Secretary business?

That is correct, but its the same with The Lord Chancellor and there have over years been regular times when ministers were in Lords not Commons.

There is a Junior minister who answers in Commons - eg Solicitor General for the Lord Chancellor

Cameron had no real option than to hold the referendum and to resign when his preferred outcome did not occur. He is a capable politician and very talented. He is known by many dignitaries and politicians throughout the world and has already has good grounding as a result. He still has a great deal to offer, could stand again as leader even.
If Labour can have an ex leader who cannot eat a bacon sarnie in the opposition cabinet I’m sure Cameron would be an asset to the Country.

I'm sure the Cabinet minister's salary of £67,505 per annum plus his Lords Attendance allowance of £342 per day plus expenses etc did not influence his return at all

The expenses and daily allowance are not taxable

LCL:-For the many failings of the Government, the Tories have highlighted the point that Labour have not promoted ethnic MP’s or Women to higher positions as they have and the pressure will be upon them to do so , especially if elected next time round.

LCL ( whoever you may be & whatever are your TRUE beliefs ) :- An ethnically diverse Fascist is just as objectionable as a white one.

Quick point but it’s really irritating when people do it so gonna say it: an individual can’t be “diverse”; an individual can contribute to the diversity of a given group.

Maybe there should be minimum term limits for some of these positions (unless someone has to leave due to a scandal or something). It's an absolute nonsense and additional reason why so many areas - but in particular housing - are absolutely f*cked.

Well at least he knows how stupid the general public are now. As much as the politicians get slated, there general intelligence is way above the electorate. I would never give them a referendum on anything ever again.
