Re: Steve Castle
"shaun has been getting some minutes with the reserves,” said Castle, who last season briefly had Batt’s former Leyton Orient strike partner TOMMY Mooney playing up front for him."

Re: Steve Castle
I'll never forget his sprint forward to set up Chris Dagnall in the play-off semi final against the Posh. He started 10-15 yards behind the full back and overtook him before their penalty area to get the pass in. 32 eh, how time flies.

Re: Steve Castle
Yes,EN, that magnificent sprint is too often lost in the shadow of Cox’s insane free kick. But Batt did indeed start his run just outside his own 18 yard box and just keep going. A moment of pure madness akin to Tehoue charging at the Arsie-peeps defence.
Such is the lot of an Orient fan!

Re: Steve Castle
Have to say I liked Batt. Despite having the touch of a washing machine, he always looked to be positive in possession and cause problems.

I thought he was terrible but his effort could never be faulted.Scuba Diver wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 1:21 pm Have to say I liked Batt. Despite having the touch of a washing machine, he always looked to be in positive in possession and cause problems.
