Here is your opportunity for a " look at me moment ". My present car is a Dacia Jogger, which I took possession of in July after waiting 4-5 months for my order. I don't do a lot of driving these days but took the car to the Isle of Wight at the end of July. Believe it or not I have not seen another on the road since buying it.
My previous car was a Dacia Duster, which I had for almost 4 years. I was so impressed with the value, I decided on the Jogger. My purchase was accelerated, because of the switch to all electric cars. For me, the most important reason for a car is holidays. An all electric car seems about as useless as a chocolate tea cup for that purpose. I can't see myself driving much past 80 ( if I last that long ), so this will probably be my last car.

I had to change my car from a BMW 120d because of ULEZ. I changed to a Suzuki Vitara, it's a nice enough car but l do miss the speed and acceleration of the BMW.

I'm sticking with my Focus automatic ecodrive. I know that motoring enthusiasts feel the ecodrive is a poor man's turbo, but I like the fact that it is like driving a toy car, and is dirt cheap to run, tax, insure and complies with ULEZ. And once you get used to an automatic you wonder why the hell you never went for one sooner.

A Vauxhall Astra Estate, 2L, diesel, road coloured, oh sorry meant black. Bought it when we were being told diesel better than petrol, which still irritates me, now I'm a pariah! The space in the boot was darned handy getting son to uni and back though.

Bought for the princely sum of £525 when I was at a low in my life in mid 2017

I was hopeful of getting 6 months out of it - it was 17 years old even then but it's been an absolute workhorse and staggeringly reliable.~ Has taken me to Cornwall and back about 15 times with no issues..

I've been so impressed I've got my eye on the 2.5 V6 version...but not letting go until rust claims it or it needs welding or something. Nothing to look at- it's battered with peeling paint, but the inside is lovely with unmarked light grey leather and I can't see the outside when I'm driving it so I don't care..

Found a specialist (which is vital when running old cars) who is incredibly knowledgable, helpful, and reasonably priced in equal measure.
I always had Saabs prior - 7 in total, but no way would I move from Alfa after the experience with the 156.

We don't drive much, will walk or use public transport if possible. Have a 10 year old honda cr-v that's only done about 60k km's, hopefully it'll last a few more years until solid state batteries are the norm and will get a car with one of those.

I think there used to be a classic car specialist on this board who moved down to the south west.

Daily driver is a Suzuki S Cross Hybrid, cheap as chips and runs on fumes. My trusty old '99 GMC Yukon is still with us but at 13_15mpg it doesn't leave the garage very often these days. Love it though.

57 plate Suzuki Swift, in black, with a dodgy bumper thanks to my inability to avoid the neighbours wall one day. It's my wonderful shitbox, which I should replace for an automatic for the type of driving I do - but it's only done 56k miles in it's life, so going to leave the old girl until she dies in a blaze of glory.

Having become a fan of such youtube channels like Auto Alex, Drive Tribe, Johnny Smith Show etc, I can really appreciate what an old car can do and would rather have one than a more expensive newer car. Did consider to buy one of those ULEZ non-compliant diesels as I live out in the sticks by the coast and we are reliant on cars so wanted a bit of a bargain.

Although I would like cameras for parallel parking. I'm useless at that.

Tesla model 3. No more filling stations, no more diesel smell on my hands. Mental acceleration. Not that comfortable on long journeys although you get plenty of opportunities to stretch your legs..
