Why have we not brought in a ball winning midfielder in the past two years . ? It was clear from yesterday we still need one and sooner rather than later.

Is there any chance say in the next 5 years, the club will either buy our current ground, or build a new ground, so we can get away from the clutches of Hearn
Eight hundred thousand pounds a year,in rent, is ridiculous burden on the club IMO

£180k p a not £800k, isn’t it?

Not even Hearn could get away with a rent review like that.

Did we get any bids for Alabi and if so why didnt they happen? Is him staying directly stopping us getting in another striker?

I second that question, as it's very important for our future and where we're going.

Not a question for my colleagues but more of an observation.

At Macclesfield yesterday I overheard a man saying "..what sort of club don't sell burgers.."

We're not the only ones y'all.

The idea that building a new ground and re-locating will somehow save us money is also laughable.

Never mind comeon, but throwing off the shackles of Hearn is the main thrust. A breath of fresh air for this club if we can achieve that.

It's a tough one as Hearn has left us minimal options. We're either stuck giving best part of £200k every year to him for nothing (whilst being liable for repair costs to the slowly crumbling East Stand) with no way to make any of our own income from the ground.

On the other hand because Hearn took the ground assets away from the club at half their value we're left with nothing to sell if we wanted to move elsewhere so a new build would be very pricey. Stuck either way you look at it, LOFC stitched up like a kipper by Hearn.

If Orient were to relocate, where exactly would they go?

I ask this for a couple of reasons.

1. Land in and around Leyton will be eye wateringly expensive

2. If Orient were to move out of London (Essex) then they would lose a lot of the recent newcomers

I just don’t see Orient moving ground as a sensible option, regardless of how badly Hearn stitched the club up.

The club have already done a feasibility study with LBWF over the last two years, they both concluded there isn't a suitable site that could house a stadium in the borough So it would come down to buying the stadium I think Matchroom pension fund now only own some of it now with other commercial bits having been sold off.
Which ever way you look at it we would need enormous financial backing probably beyond what Travis and Teague would want to invest.

Establish ourselves in the championship, then ground share at the OS.

This has to be their plan.

Interesting, with the restrictions on ground development die to the flats and the cost to get enough of it back to bring some revenue streams in it doesn't seem feasible.

So it's back to selling a Bonne per year to cover the rent costs for the foreseeable future then :?
