Really troubling to think about how many guys in their 50s and 60s will have been hugely aroused by that clip.Wally Banter wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 11:26 am I really do try not to judge people based on how they look, but it's hard to ignore the evidence of my eyes: to be a Tory politician, you have to be a proper awkward weirdo, don't you?

Speech probably written by an Oxbridge nerd with a Masters in Politics and zero experience of the real World. It probably looked better on paper……Max B Gold wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 10:41 am Lovely hair though

Andy Burnham doesn’t have much experience in the real world either, look at him now? You must try to give people a chance in life I say.BoniO wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 12:24 pmSpeech probably written by an Oxbridge nerd with a Masters in Politics and zero experience of the real World. Absolutely. If only some of the policy-making, speech writing whiz-kids had ever experienced any.Loin Cloth Lenny wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 12:44 pmAndy Burnham doesn’t have much experience in the real world either, look at him now? Yes but having nice hair helps to distract the audience.Wally Banter wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 11:26 am I really do try not to judge people based on how they look, but it's hard to ignore the evidence of my eyes: to be a Tory politician, you have to be a proper awkward weirdo, don't you?

Re: Tory Watch
The delivery by a completely talentless amateur actor in a shakespearian style probably didn't help either. You can see it's been rehearsed and why someone didn't call a halt during rehearsal is just cruel. Nice hair though.BoniO wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 12:24 pmSpeech probably written by an Oxbridge nerd with a Masters in Politics and zero experience of the real World. You think she is the only politician to have rehearsed a speech?

Re: Tory Watch
As a nuclear power, does Israel really need this?
Just a pathetic attempt from Number 10 trying to 'act big' and as though relevant?

Re: Tory Watch
That loveable rascal Peter Bone is in a whole host of trouble. Should be suspended from Parliament for 6 weeks & could trigger a recall petition. He has quite a lot of Right Wing chums, so he may get off lightly. Watch this space.

Re: Tory Watch
It should be but the complainant victim will need to substantiate the matter by reporting it to the Police as a Crime , provide a statement, then it will be investigated. Sounds horrendous. The youngster must have been terrified if the allegations are correct.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Wed Oct 18, 2023 3:22 pmWhy is this not a police matter?Loin Cloth Lenny wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2023 4:27 pm Bone’s bone gets him in bother:

Re: Tory Watch
Just watched Andrea Leadsom ( not someone I normally admire ) give a perfect intervention, when one of her fellow Tories broke down, mid-speech talking on a personally emotive issue. Her timing was perfect.
