No point in getting upset/angry yet - Ross will be given a few more months before any action is taken.

He'll get August-October I reckon but if it's bad by November 5th expect fireworks as we get someone in to have the transfer window at least to change things up.

So much for those who say no difference between NL and L2. Remember today's opponents finished just shy of the relegation spots last year. Sloppy play will be punished at this level.
👆🏾Is that a moan? I think so
Too right it is when you get battered 3-0 by a side fancied for relegation. Get them midfield signings in like they need to have come in all summer.

This.

That's too long considering some of us can already see the problem evolving . I don't want us to be struggling this season to stay up.

Second goal killed us.
Not sure we are going to score enough goals played the current formation
To the contrary, our record up there IS quite good
Macc’s record against us at home is

Played 9. Won 6. Drawn 2. Lost 1.

We’ve won there once

Well that was a wake up call for sure. Let’s hope it works and we wake up for the next game.

Far too early to dump Ross, even though I have been saying he isnt manager material. He should be given till end of next month.

We need to go back to 4-4-2 with two wingers peppering balls in to the 2 up front. We also need a few more bodies in the building, particularly creative midfielder and another backup striker. Alabi is a waste of space as a back up striker

This result will have knocked the confidence a lot. Justin would have got it back up, because thats how he was...I doubt that Ross could inspire anyoine TBH

Very disappointing day

Your last few lines is what worry's me and why I'm calling a more experienced manager to be brought in now.

No matter how many times I listen to Ross, the word inspiring never enters my mind. But he will get time and rightly so. He has the perfect opportunity to show how he can react positivity to this setback and I desperately hope it’s in evidence during the next home game.

We all knew he would get challenges during his time. Bit earlier than expected perhaps. Time to prove your worth Ross.

On the money with that. We need a plan B that provides more of an attacking threat. Saturday will be interesting.

Never mind Saturday, what about Plymouth away on Tuesday night . Now that will be interesting against arguably the best team in the division .

It's a cup game, who cares. Send out the reserves, not like we've got the depth to be risking our first teamers.

FA Cup is the only one I'd put any of our proper squad in this season. The rest throw the youth players in and let them prove their worth.

I dunno. I'd quite like the first team out on Tuesday. If they are soundly beaten by a Plymouth hybrid first and reserve team then it increases the likelihood that we seriously upgrade the team and squad.

13/10 Plymouth are massive odds in my opinion , easy money if we perform like we did today ☹

Not sure we have the squad to rotate anyway - can only see a couple of changes.

IMO this is worth a risk to play the best side, it's one round away from a good draw and gets today's defeat out of the system.

An away tie somewhere like West Ham should be pretty lucrative even if we get thrashed, and that pays for a few players on its own.

Or helps with next years refinancing....

I agree we should put out a strong team but equally it’s a chance to give some others a run out.

Sarge should get a game, not sure Deano is up for two games in 3 days anyway.

Judd has to start and if he plays anywhere near how he can should retain his place over Ling.

If Gorman is a genuine part of our squad, he too should play.

JMD needs a kick up the arse so I’d give that Dennis a try behind the front 2.

Sadly the front 2 have to start as we have no alternatives good enough to start a game.

My view- I was disappointed with our display after Macc's first goal. we just seemed not to be up for it.

If Angol continues to be that niggly in matches. it wont be long before he is sent of for two yellows.
Wilkinson won a lot in the air before the goal but then faded. Needs to work harder.
Midfield still worries me - not combative enough - Clay cant do it all on his own in this league.
We miss Jobi big time.
Against defences like we will meet in this league, I feel we need 'wingers' who can stretch play although I like the 5-3-2 system given the centre halves we have.
I predict we will go 4-4-2 especially when Jobi and Dayton are fit.
