Well the O's! Great performance at the back but going forward was a real problem - lack of any threat, except when there were set pieces. We keep hoping for onwards and upwards. Thought Forde would be on for Soteriou - at 60 - so pleased I was wrong.

Bloody Brilliant performance, Beckles was Class at the back & unlucky not to score. Great goal from Pigot & what a finish by Ruel. Cooper solid at the back as well, did his header hit the bar 1st half ?

Doesn't bother me one bit we need those 3 sweet points on the board
It bothers me, I hate Stevenage.
So do I and especially with Steve Evans there . However the main thing is we win enough points to survive in League 1 this season

Of course, it only put a slight tinge on the win :D

Brilliant result and well deserved. We looked solid and played well in patches.
Two very good goals and great for Piggott.

A win away at Exeter is very rare for us !!!

G Shaw, you spent a lot of time on this match thread placing negative comments about Ruel Sotiriou , yet as far as I can see, you made no mention at all of his well taken match winning goal, strange that ?

Great assist from Galbraith, I wonder what would have happened if we had Forde on earlier too...

Well seeing as you asked, shocking goalkeeping, thanks Gary Woods. The others said it already, awful performance the whole game and then that shot finds its way in and we're back to Messi

Have a safe journey VeganO and I hope the Os come away with something from the game. I've already predicted on Constanza's thread, a 2-2 draw.

and just noticed this in the match preview, so let's not be too disheartened before play starts.

""Exeter and Orient have met 94 times in the past, with the O’s just having the edge historically. Orient’s 34 victories is one better than Exeter’s tally of 33 and there have also been 27 draws between the two clubs.""
Cheers EN. Enjoy Spain.
Like the historical record, please let it be 35 - 33 after today.
It is now 😀😀👍👍

Not Messi at all but a well taken match winning goal............that completely passed you by
Regardless, we really needed that win so a really good 3 points and well done to all concerned in playing that match in such awful hot conditions.

Great performance.
Didn't deserve to go 1-0 down, and fought back so well.

Different formation, with 2 up front made the world of difference, and Pigott had his best game for us.

After last week's awful performance, this was a breath of fresh air.

This formation is much better, because it allows us to play further up the pitch. We looked like scoring for the whole game, which is something no one could say before.

I hope Cooper isn't injured badly, because he looked very good, and passed an attacking that too.

Deserved the win, and let's hope we can carry on in the same vein next week at Posh
