Carol Decker here, lead singer with 80s power-ballad pioneers, T'pau, giving an example of skimpflation. Waitrose using pollock (instead of tastier fish) in their fish pies is, apparently, an example of how this country is going to hell in a hand cart.

My neighbour enjoys Basa fillets from Tesco , he thinks they are a type of Bass , they are in fact a kind of Catfish , not as bad as it sounds to eat though 🤔

She's not wrong about the taste of Polloks. To be fair to the Polloks they are much better fighters than the Cods.

Im off to Loch Etive tomorrow on a boat called "The Bountiful Catch" and hope to haul in a few Cod.

Long time Boarders may recall that on my last trip to Lock Etive I met the father of a The Clash guitarist and because he was a bit blind I had to set up his tackle for him.

He had a British Sea Angling Club Casting Instructor badge pinned to his Sou'Wester and on his first cast he forgot to take off the bail arm and his tackle snapped and shot off dropping into the water never to be seen again.

She should know about bland food seeing how she's been dining out on "China in your hand" for 35 f*cking years.

It's a shame T'Pau and Carol Decker are only remembered for China In Your Hands. They did have some other hits you know, such as Heart and Sole.

Of course the shamless move toward reducing the vital energy giving Mars Bar has been ongoing for some years now.
Stop deep-frying it then.

No, but probably the first one you actually understand.
