Re: My Wtf happened there this season....
The mad few minutes against Eastleigh at home where we completely turned the game around. Did not see that coming, as pleasant a surprise as it was.
The Salford battering didn't come as a shock to me at all. In fact, I won a fair bit of cash predicting the correct score.
And agree with Delamod, the Sutton GK was one of the most bizarre things I've seen at a football match. Actually, that entire game was just a bit weird.

Re: My Wtf happened there this season....
My own wtf moment was definitely the two opening goals scored by Salford.
Our players were like statues. Blank, mindless and static. It was like one of those nightmares where the legs just don't move when you try to run. I sit too far away from the bench to hear anything but, I was reliably informed that JE's language was 'colourful'.

Dunno really.
Maybe the first game of the season away at Salford. You knew it would be an important game come the end of the season and watching Lee smash it against the keeper from a yard and i think off the post, after Lawless hit the inside of the post in the first half, i just didn't think it was our day.
Then somehow Clay scored and the away end went mental. A huge release, people not he pitch, bins upside down, the lot.

I also remember a BT sport cameraman getting bundled. I think the celebrations were a continuation of the beer chucking from the World Cup.Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2019 11:29 am Dunno really.

When I tripped over in the Braintree car park after the game, head-butted a car and knocked myself out. And I was sober for a change.

The 2-0 win away at Wrexham. I'd accepted a draw at least half an hour before the end and then we scored two late goals followed by a load of very angry (not really) Welsh people snarling at us. Loads of fun.

Fylde doing us one massive favour where our two most non favourite teams couldn't.

Sutton goalie for sure
And the Solihull home game. Thought they were the better team, a more physical team for sure (which we usually struggle with) yet won 3-0.
