This guy is set to compete against Turns, Happe, Beckles.
RW didn’t rate Ogie and he was 4th choice.
So we’ve got a better player in, more competition and received a fee for Ogie and Ogie gets first team football.
Sounds like a good result.

You class 17th August as “ ages ago” ? Point is Mitchell was available for loan from Millwall and imho it would have been a good option for the O’s to have brought him in. Whether we tried or not or circumstances changed between mid August and the end of the month I don’t know but personally I believe he would have been a good addition. Brandon Cooper may be every bit as good - we’ll get the chance to find out in the coming weeks.

Only 5 starts in the Championship. Spent most of his career in the lower leagues

Fan comments on X saying he's nowhere near Championship standard and they want it to be a permanent move. That's fine we need L1 quality for now.

We have a decent squad at Orient so Brandon has the opportunity to prove he's Championship standard and prove those Swansea fans wrong . Come to think about it , if he can prove he's Championship standard then we might want to keep him . Its up to Brandon to take this chance

Forest Green were a very poor side last season so Brandon's got a better opportunity here with a better squad of players to prove himself .

15 days ago during transfer window is a long time. Besides Imps manager & former Millwall player took him & we only got him through Kenny Jackett . Mitchell is only going out on loan to play week in & out & not as 1 of 4 possibles.

This makes the selling of Ogie even more bizarre.

Why sell a young promising player of our own to replace him with someone else’s player. Strange decision.

Because the offer of 100k for a CB who was 5th choice, started about five games that season, was far too good to turn down, probably for both the club and player
