Do you remember his first touch?

Re: Brandon Cooper
Sadlier could still sign as a free agent technically, though with what budget would be the issue

He couldn't play in our team now, though.

Re: Brandon Cooper
Don't know the lad but welcome Brandon!
Looks the part - decent size, L2 and L1 experience, decent age, lets hope he takes any chance he gets.
Not sure how we've managed to get 4 left footed centre halves, mind. Bit weird.

Re: Brandon Cooper
After listening to Martin's interview I agree it makes more sense to bring in another defender instead of a forward . Welcome to Orient Brandon and good luck .

Re: Brandon Cooper
Really needed both but without budget the CB looks the better option, can't be getting caught short thereRedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 02, 2023 1:04 am After listening to Martin's interview I agree it makes more sense to bring in another defender instead of a forward . Re: Brandon Cooper
Excuse me for scratching my head, but we had a really classy CB, sold him ( Ogie), then 3 weeks later, we bring in this guy?????
Why didnt we just keep Shad?

Re: Brandon Cooper
This guy is set to compete against Turns, Happe, Beckles.
RW didn’t rate Ogie and he was 4th choice.
So we’ve got a better player in, more competition and received a fee for Ogie and Ogie gets first team football.
Sounds like a good result.

Re: Brandon Cooper
You class 17th August as “ ages ago” ? Point is Mitchell was available for loan from Millwall and imho it would have been a good option for the O’s to have brought him in. Whether we tried or not or circumstances changed between mid August and the end of the month I don’t know but personally I believe he would have been a good addition. Brandon Cooper may be every bit as good - we’ll get the chance to find out in the coming weeks.

Re: Brandon Cooper
We have a decent squad at Orient so Brandon has the opportunity to prove he's Championship standard and prove those Swansea fans wrong . Come to think about it , if he can prove he's Championship standard then we might want to keep him . Its up to Brandon to take this chancegshaw wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2023 10:36 pmFan comments on X saying he's nowhere near Championship standard and they want it to be a permanent move. That's fine we need L1 quality for now.Story of O wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2023 10:28 pmOnly 5 starts in the Championship. Re: Brandon Cooper
Forest Green were a very poor side last season so Brandon's got a better opportunity here with a better squad of players to prove himself .

Re: Brandon Cooper
15 days ago during transfer window is a long time. Besides Imps manager & former Millwall player took him & we only got him through Kenny Jackett . Mitchell is only going out on loan to play week in & out & not as 1 of 4 possibles.redintheface wrote: ↑Sat Sep 02, 2023 11:45 amYou class 17th August as “ ages ago” ? We could have done with Shad todayessexfootball wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2023 10:41 pmBecause the offer of 100k for a CB who was 5th choice, started about five games that season, was far too good to turn down, probably for both the club and playerThe Reverend wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2023 10:40 pm This makes the selling of Ogie even more bizarre.
Why sell a young promising player of our own to replace him with someone else’s player. Strange decision.
