Strange no one seems to recall this interview apart from a few alias
Two people have told you it was said. Both have provided where it was said. Why don’t you find it if you’re still in doubt?

It rings a bell, I’m not arsed about it though. If I was I’d use the information provided to find the correct episode.

For all the doubters, take a listen to the Nigel Travis interview on Orient Outlook as I said from the start it's 20% of any profit.

It sounded like he said it would be extra 20% of our original fee.Top of the JES wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2023 1:04 pm For all the doubters, take a listen to the Nigel Travis interview on Orient Outlook as I said from the start it's 20% of any profit.

Re: Alzate: £8M transfer
Sounded like that to me as well ? Perhaps Nigel got it muddled up I mean a massive difference between 5% of the proposed transfer fee of 8 million Euros and 5% of what we originally sold Alzate for ? .Real Al wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2023 3:52 pmIt sounded like he said it would be extra 20% of our original fee.Top of the JES wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2023 1:04 pm For all the doubters, take a listen to the Nigel Travis interview on Orient Outlook as I said from the start it's 20% of any profit.

So if they paid £500k originally and a further £500k linked to appearances and they sell him for £8m we will get 20% of £7m.

The proposed transfer fee is 8 million Euros not 8 million pounds.Mylo Xyloto wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2023 2:46 pmMy understanding is 20% of the profit.Sid Bishop wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2023 4:14 pmSounded like that to me as well ? End of the day will the supporters ever get to know who gets what.
Also nothing mentioned about the Harry Kane Transfer fee and the chances of Os getting part of the 5% that has been spoken about on this forum ?

Sid Bishop wrote: ↑Mon Aug 21, 2023 8:49 amGreat news for the club if this does happen and if this proposed transfer does happen, then hope that Steve Alzate's career flourishes at his new club.Top of the JES wrote: ↑Sun Aug 20, 2023 5:45 pm We have 20% of any profit so could be as much as £1.2 million. It will at least give us some leeway in the January window, so let’s hope it happens.
I really hope any income generated is used for the benefit Olof the club rather than in dividends for investors although I do see their point as they have invested fortunes in the Club. No doubt all their investment is shown as such in the accounts and they will be reimbursed eventually .

So last chance saloon for a sell-on fee via a cut price January deal or he leaves in summer on a free

Re: Alzate: £8M transfer
Not good news for us.
By the time the Loan period ends, Alzate will be a free agent and the sell on clause will be no more.
A real kick in the bo11ocks for us
What this club could have down with €1.6m
So annoying

Re: Alzate: £8M transfer
Big clubs are smart at getting around these sell-on clauses. Much like Hearn's 50% ground profit share... half of nothing is still... nothing

. Would have been worth more to them if they had sold him. Obviously wanted him off the books They have potentially lost 3 to 4 million pounds

He didn't want to go, he had the choice of three or four clubs before the deadline, I think he's hoping to sign a new contract at Brighton when his deal expires next summer.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 06, 2023 11:30 pmMakes me wonder why didn't they just sell him then ?Lifelongfan wrote: ↑Wed Sep 06, 2023 11:02 pm.
