Salford and Solihull
Bearing in mind that their positions are secure, do you think that they will rest players for potential play off games and concede the championship to us or go for it even though its unlikely

Safety first, keep they're powder dry, go for the next best option, The exact opposite of what we did

Re: Salford and Solihull
Salford might go for it in first 45 minutes at Hartlepool and see how things are at half time. 5 goal swing is not impossible even if unlikely. However if Os are winning they will probably make their substitutions.
Solihull will probably not worry too much at Dagenham as they need an 8 goal swing and to better Salford by 3 or 4 goals. Not impossible but even more unlikely.

Salford will go for it. Stranger things have happened than a 5 goal swing and theres no real pressure on them.

This. If it were us in Salford's position then we would expect JE and the boys go for it. I think Solihull rest up.Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2019 11:11 am Salford will go for it. Stranger things have happened than a 5 goal swing and theres no real pressure on them.

Re: Salford and Solihull
Bearing in mind that in Tim Flowers' post-match interview he was congratulating us on winning the title, and talking about their preparations for the play-offs, I think we can conclude that they won't be "going for it" on Saturday

I agree with this and that's why we must concentrate on our own game and just finish the Job on Saturday.RientO wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2019 10:51 am Salford might go for it in first 45 minutes at Hartlepool and see how things are at half time. 5 goal swing is not impossible even if unlikely. 1-1 draw. Where's your ambition?
Re: Salford and Solihull
I want us to get 2 early goals, as I am a worrier, same in the play off final against Rotherham I was desperate for us to score a 3rd as soon second half started.

Re: Salford and Solihull
Would also be surprised to see Solihull "go for it" on Saturday seeing as they didn't seem able to yesterday.
