Very good Half by The O’s.
Nice to see Ruel & Moncs (who have both had good 45mins) supporting Piggott when we play the ball upfield.
Defending has been better, apart from Omar when he gets time on the ball, his lack of concentration and casualness is a real worry.

Blackpool mainly looking for the ball in behind or over the top
Theo has settled far more at this level last two games
Need Moncur to be a more quality when there is half a chance, twice he should've done better
Still a bit nervous at the back
Forward players pressing but obviously that is going to wane later in the second half

BBC Lancashire commentary team can’t believe we are near the bottom. Seems like we are the better team.

Good to see Pigott winning the ball from Marvin and then when the ball was up in the air off the keeper, he got in front of the defender looking sharp and was gonna have a tap in if the defender hadn't pushed him.

I just can’t see how a ref and his assistants can look at that and not give a pen

Ref has let a lot of physical stuff go but that was ridiculous.

A post on X earlier summed it up well, PGMOL are more concerned about the optics of not criticizing referees than they are about getting the decisions right in the first place
