In the last 2 games the opposition score twice off the post, we hit the post and it goes back into play.

I've had enough of this fcuking season already, what with 3 players crocked before they have kicked a ball for us. Own goals, red card and goals conceded willy nilly, it doesn't bode well, does it?

It is starting to have a certain Forest Green hue to it I must admit!Chicken Dhansak wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 9:29 pm I've had enough of this fcuking season already, what with 3 players crocked before they have kicked a ball for us. Re: Exiles thread - Wycombe (A)
We are an absolute shambles, some calling it bad luck, but it’s simple, we are not good enough.
We then go and sign a striker and what do we do?
We keep him on the bench.

Re: Exiles thread - Wycombe (A)
so easy, especially with a short keeper who can't get enough on it to properly palm it away. Oh Vigs, I didn't think we'd miss you so much.

Got to change the system going forward, the players are a problem but four games, against 10 for 1

Have you not seen the injury list. Give me a break. They are trying so hard.

Beckles getting absolutely mullered on the turn again. Mad to think he nabbed him from a league 1 team who wanted to keep him, surely he's been able to get by at this level before.

Re: Exiles thread - Wycombe (A)
There’s a world of difference to how we played on Saturday and how we played tonight. Unfortunately as I’ve said so many times we are not stopping the crosses coming in. At the moment things that can go wrong are going wrong. Great spirit from the team.

Re: Exiles thread - Wycombe (A)
Yeah, we can keep blaming it on the injuries, but the fact is the squad is simply not good enough.
Defensively we are terrible, Al over the place, basic duties of a full back, don’t let wingers get crosses into the box, especially when you have your reserve GK playing, who needs protecting.
Yes we have had a few injuries, but the squad should be good enough to cope and it wasn’t and isn’t.

I would suggest any team with so many players missing might struggle. It’s certainly not perfect but we are being dealt some rubbish cards but we keep going.Stan1972 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 9:38 pmYeah, we can keep blaming it on the injuries, but the fact is the squad is simply not good enough.

Totally agree the squad is nowhere near good enough , very thin on quality in replacements in particular our Goalkeepers.Stan1972 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 9:38 pmYeah, we can keep blaming it on the injuries, but the fact is the squad is simply not good enough.

Re: Exiles thread - Wycombe (A)
Why are we only playing fast and incisive and having a good few shots now, we are creating havoc in the Wycombe defence, why didn't we do this from the start?
