Two against a game average, last year bullet tight defence, last season didn't look like scoring but someone would produce some magic

That someone was usually Smyth. Who has left. And we haven’t properly replaced.essexfootball wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 8:05 pm Two against a game average, last year bullet tight defence, last season didn't look like scoring but someone would produce some magic

Howlers almost got caught out then. Imagine the board if that went in

Playing really well without penetrating, just can't defend diagonal crosses to the far post.

Leyton Orient FC@leytonorientfc; We can confirm that there has been a change on the substitutes bench for the O's, with Harrison Sodje replacing Shaq Forde.
The guy who is doing the warm-ups needs replacement.

Re: Exiles thread - Wycombe (A)
Wycombe look awful yet still far more likely to score. Can make excuses for how poor we look attacking wise given the injuries but defensively our shape is terrible. Beckles almost gave another one away there as well.

Re: Exiles thread - Wycombe (A)
Good save from Howes. There's something up with Beckles. If you watch that chance again he is just jogging back despite their striker being clear through. Even after the save he gets nowhere near their player.

Re: Exiles thread - Wycombe (A)
Wycombe players are faster than our, more skillful, but more importantly, they want the ball more than the Os players IMO.
It could be a long old season.

Re: Exiles thread - Wycombe (A)
I honestly don’t see that at all. Beckles mistake is the difference between the sides so far.

Re: Exiles thread - Wycombe (A)
Disagree. We are bettie on the ball but they are happy for us to have it because we currently have no cutting edge.

Re: Exiles thread - Wycombe (A)
Kind of but we would never have given away a goal like that last season

Re: Exiles thread - Wycombe (A)
Exactly this. The amount of times we won due to a worldie by Smyth or Archibald will not be replicated this season.
Serious down to earth time.

Re: Exiles thread - Wycombe (A)
why can't we beat the first man on our corners and why are we sending the defenders up for long throws and then throwing it short?
