I will be very disappointed if he doesn't start lm lumping on him to score the first goalMonkey Boy wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 10:11 amYes we shouldn’t expect to much from the young lad, good to have a different offensive option, was getting to the point where we would have settled for Steven Hawkins as an alternative, be interesting to see if he starts?who Richie will drop. Going to put my money on Ruel if he does, but he may also start on the bench?Sid Bishop wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 8:10 amI dare say that most likely that there may be a recall clause in his one year loan to the Os so that he can be called back to Watford if they run short of forwards. Let us hope he can give Os a boost up front and remember that playing in the EFL First Division is a big jump from playing on loan in the National League so fans should give this young player a chance to settle before coming to instant judgements as to his ability.Jeanluc wrote: ↑Mon Aug 14, 2023 5:34 pm Someone I know well whose whole family have been Watford supporters for years has said that Watford are so stupid to let him go. This was due to be his breakthrough year and I am assured that Shaq will be absolutely brilliant for us and will get a hatful of goals. The doomsayers can moan if they want but I'm going to go with my source. Can't wait to see him in an O's shirt

Just cover it with “No Orient Goal” and you’ve got all bases coveredBIGRON wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 10:15 amI will be very disappointed if he doesn't start lm lumping on him to score the first goalMonkey Boy wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 10:11 amYes we shouldn’t expect to much from the young lad, good to have a different offensive option, was getting to the point where we would have settled for Steven Hawkins as an alternative, be interesting to see if he starts?who Richie will drop. Re: Signing
After no goals in our first three opening games of the season I hope Shaq starts tonight because we obviously need to try something different .

Yep, let's put the pressure straight on a 19 year old kid who's had a 2 hour training session with us.
This just Smaxs of total desperation.

Re: Signing
Can see your point max,I think some people are getting a little worried that loosing a few games at the beginning of the season can become a habit just a winning games did last year. It’s just not the lack of goals that concerns me it’s, our pressing, making opportunities in the opposition final third and general lack of belief at the moment. We didn’t thrash any team convincingly last season and yet we closed games out by the odd goal in most cases, mainly due to Richie’s management skills imo. If he hasn’t got the attacking opinions at his disposal?Max Fowler wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 11:36 am Yep, let's put the pressure straight on a 19 year old kid who's had a 2 hour training session with us.

I think tonight’s game could set the tone for the next ten. Get a point on the board then self belief will return a little

Re: Signing
Os are so awful up front at present that pretty sure he will play some part in the next game. As to if it is from the start or off the bench, well who can say, but no one can get that upset if they are left out. The place to prove your worth to be in the starting line up, is out there on the football pitch !Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 10:11 amYes we shouldn’t expect to much from the young lad, good to have a different offensive option, was getting to the point where we would have settled for Steven Hawkins as an alternative, be interesting to see if he starts?who Richie will drop. He might start on the bench but I think he’s virtually guaranteed to get on at some point.
