Re: Hypothetical Team for tomorrow
I think Pratley might still be ill . Richie said he wanted a forward with pace so that isn't Kelman. I would be shocked if it was him . Whoever it is I hope we sign him in time to face Wycombe tomorrow .

Re: Hypothetical Team for tomorrow
Is Galbraith likely to be available ? I thought the “ concussion protocol” lasts for a nine day spell?

Re: Hypothetical Team for tomorrow
No Moncur ? Brown at fullback, well if James in unfit then well worth giving ''Capability Brown'' a go there being as Hunt is having a rough spell in that position.Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Mon Aug 14, 2023 10:29 am Assuming that we sign Kelman today and nobody else this would be my team for tomorrow.

Richie thinks Drinan is pacey so he has a pretty low bar.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 14, 2023 10:45 am I think Pratley might still be ill . Re: Hypothetical Team for tomorrow
Pack the midfield to try and tighten up the GA column.
Sweeney left out if he's too fatigued from Sat, else swap with Hunt
Also assuming James is still out (who knows)
Yes harsh on Happe but we don't have another right footed CB, the Turns & Beckles partnership worked OK tail end of last season so mixing it up to try something different
Howes
Brown Beckles Turns Hunt
Pratley Sanders Moncur El Miz
Archibald
Pigott (or Kelman if he signs)

Re: Hypothetical Team for tomorrow
Thanks for the update. Freudian predicted text on the goalkeeper Howes, but more chance of getting Bob Hope than a new keeper by tomorrow, if not Galbraith who incidentally I think people will likethen Graham/Ruel on the right. As for Moncur I watched him Saturday and as I said he was puffing like Thomas the tank engine. Ever since he’s been here theoretically he should be an auto in the team, but for a long time now Richie has had him on the bench and not started. He’s never imo looked that fit since he’s signed but perhaps I’m wrong?ComeOnYouOs wrote: ↑Mon Aug 14, 2023 11:18 amCorrect. Re: Hypothetical Team for tomorrow
Last couple of games of last season he looked fit and sharp, was hoping he'd keep that level up ready for start of the season but sounds like back to square oneMonkey Boy wrote: ↑Mon Aug 14, 2023 12:59 pm He’s never imo looked that fit since he’s signed but perhaps I’m wrong?

Re: Hypothetical Team for tomorrow
After the way Beckles played on Saturday it should be at CB beside Happe . If Beckles does play he has to get his act together

Re: Hypothetical Team for tomorrow
I was just wondering what are our chances of signing anybody today . If we play with the same side as Saturday against Wycombe I would take a draw right now. Just please don’t lose again

4-4-2 with concussed Galbraith on the wing and Piggot playing off of Kelman is hilariosous.Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Mon Aug 14, 2023 10:29 am Assuming that we sign Kelman today and nobody else this would be my team for tomorrow.

Re: Hypothetical Team for tomorrow
Now now max you know I didn’t know about Galbraith and it’s not 442 it’s 4411. Pigott can’t play on his own up there even you know that by now, secondly we have to strengthen the channels coz we’re getting murdered down there in the last few games it’s a weak spot even you know that. Kelman ? Not sure to be honest but not good enough, even I know that.lastly we need to get something out of this game and we all know thatMax Fowler wrote: ↑Mon Aug 14, 2023 2:56 pm4-4-2 with concussed Galbraith on the wing and Piggot playing off of Kelman is hilariosous.Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Mon Aug 14, 2023 10:29 am Assuming that we sign Kelman today and nobody else this would be my team for tomorrow.
