Re: Chris Bart-Williams RIP
So sad. Great footballer and truly funny guy. Remember him being the star of a Premiership stories doc on the BBC and just having bucket loads of charisma and wit.
His arrival in our team coincided with my first visits to
Brissie and I loved watching him play for the short time he was here. Best wishes to his family and thanks for the memories.

Re: Chris Bart-Williams RIP
WTF
When did this happen and how?
Still can remember watching Bart Man make his debut.
This is so sad, genuinely shocked by this news.

Re: Chris Bart-Williams RIP
Remember Chris making his debut and scoring he looked like he was going to be player and of course he was.

Re: Chris Bart-Williams RIP
Very sad news
I sponsored his shirt when Chris was 16 and broke into the first team at the Os.
He was such a happy and talented player - I can’t quite believe he is gone

Wow, that stopped me in my tracks. That is so sad, he was an extraordinary talent when he came into our Team and he was exciting to watch. RIP The Bart Man - that is just too bloody young.

So sad.
Scored an absolute worldie on his debut aged 16 or 17.
Fabulous player.
rest in peace, Bart Man

Re: Chris Bart-Williams RIP
Absolutely tragic, I used to go watch the youth team when Johnny Gorman was coaching, Chris was absolute class and the best we produced since Laurie Cunningham
Sleep easy Bart man.

Re: Chris Bart-Williams RIP
Awful news. Hopefully there’s a minute of remembrance at the Charlton game as he played for both clubs.

Re: Chris Bart-Williams RIP
Terribly sad. No age. I was also lucky to see him play and it was no surprise that Trevor Francis bought him weeks after they knocked us out of the league cup (4-1?) up at Sheffield Wednesday.

Re: Chris Bart-Williams RIP
Really sad to hear.
He wasn't with us for that long from memory, broke into the team at a young age, if memory serves scored against Tranmere against Brisbane Road (4-0 maybe), but the way he travelled with the ball and took his goal he just looked supreme.
R.i.P.
