TBF , this signing wouldn't impress me either but I trust Richie's judgment . Saying that I would still prefer us to sign McCauley Bonne.

Richie said in one of his latest interviews that we were signing a striker and wide man . Can Pigott play out wide on the wing ? If so what side, left or right ?

Was just reading an article about him signing with us and apparently he was played as a 9, 10 and out on the left wing (for the final game of last season) at Pompey and Mousinho thought he was brilliant.

Have to say his stats don't look that great but of course we've got to back him.

If he thought he was that brilliant why hasn't he signed him?

Could not guarantee him the playing time he wanted. They had a chat about it.

I would be very happy with this signing, would be even better if we also signed Bonne.
Then added a winger
Then added Turns as CB

We're never going to sign a striker coming off the back of a 20 goal season at this level, but his record at Wimbledon is good enough to suggest he could be a decent player for us. It's odd to think we dominated league 2 last year without even a decent striker, so this was always going to be a key one given we'll be likely creating less chances this time around.

Good . That’s our new wide man signed now just to sign our new main striker. McCauley Bonne ? Edit, Not forgetting another CB

Everything Wellens says implies he's our new no.9. Turns is surely the centre back we're signing, so that leaves one player left which will be the wide man. Getting our business done at a decent speed this summer.

What an underwhelming signing. It’s Ipswich’s latest version of Drinan 😞

Yep, thats the way to do it! Lets write the bloke off before he's even kicked a ball.

Bit underwhelmed but he did score 20 in league one 3 seasons ago and Richie is sure to get the most out of him. Can see us desperately signing a striker in Jan because we can’t score enough in the first few months

You have to remember a lot of these comments are from supporters of Prem clubs who are used to wasting millions on crap players 😀
