Re: Ref Watch vs Cheltenham Ratings
The lino on the west side was pretty much perfect.
Ref gave the fouls and let the petty pushing and shoving from both sides go so the game flowed.
Although (without seeing the highlights) he missed a blatant pen. If that was us I'd give him a 4...but as it is...8

Re: Ref Watch vs Cheltenham Ratings
South Stand sold out and I was in the away end. Looked a stonewall penalty to Cheltenham first half - right in front of me. Game changing moment as the yellow card for diving was shown. On this basis Michael Owen would have got booked / sent off every game he ever played in! Not read any reports on here yet - but had absolutely no idea why the other player received a straight red. Cheltenham fans really were not very happy down to 9 men. I need to watch some of the highlights to see if the ref got the big calls correct. (Gavin Reilly is on loan from the Gas for the season and came on with 20 minutes or so to go. Never got a kick).
My initial impression from what I saw (and Orient is my 'London' team' so I'm being as objective as possible) - ref a 5.5 at best.

OK - just read the other thread on the 2nd sending off.
That is a diabolical decision from the ref and Ince was as genuinely bemused as the travelling support.

Re: Ref Watch vs Cheltenham Ratings
I've watched the penalty incident multiple times and still can't tell one way or the other. However, I don't thing Brill touched the guy with his hands and the fact that he appears to go down a split second later seems to suggest that it's the contact with Brill's head that brings him down/encourages him to dive.
Brill obviously didn't intend to bring the guy down with his head, so I'm not sure what the rules say in this situation.

Watched the replay and still a stonewall pen. We got away with one there.
