Re: Macca Bonne
Will be buzzing to get him back. Think he’s a perfect fit with his history with us and the way we play. Richie’s type of player.
And for him to prove the doubters wrong

Re: Macca Bonne
I’m the opposite. Coming back to a club rarely works and he has not progressed (of course if had we wouldn’t have a hope of signing him). Better options IMO

Re: Macca Bonne
If not Bonne (or Armstrong), I still think we need a Bonne type player up top - someone to occupy defences, be able to hold the ball, and score 10-15 goals per season.
I do wonder if Richie wants someone more like Kelman, who can both run in behind and link up with the intricate play with our other forward players, though.

It’s just a lot of transfer rumours loads of talk there is no evidence to support that claim that bonne is coming back and also I don’t think it will be Armstrong sorry people but I will have to wait and see

Re: Macca Bonne
I like him more than most but I very much doubt it. He's a free agent (who's now over 2 weeks behind pre-season training) and so should have been tied up by now if he were coming. Apart from negotiating there was no reason for him to not be in Spain - yet Ritchie seemed to know he had a striker and a winger coming in this week. To my mind, that points to players back in training at more senior clubs getting up to speed there before linking up with us to learn Ritchie's expectations. It certainly does not apply to Macca - who is a different player to the one that was with us. With age he's become a back to goal front man.
