Here -I've conceptualised, designed and created a better looking home kit in 20 minutes.
- Classic red base
- Braces
- A local family business sponsor
- A gentle nod to our club's Chinese beginnings
- Famous players of the past on the sleeves (Tommy Johnson and Peter Kitchen)
- Speed holes

Re: New Kits
They must have paid an art student from the local college £35 to come up with that design
Re: New Kits
Is the white dripping down from the eye intended to denote an interpretation of “cum vision”? If so, bravo, and reported

Re: New Kits
So basically you think its better idea that we wear our shirts back to front .Is that to make it look like we're always on the attackWally Banter wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 12:00 pm Here -I've conceptualised, designed and created a better looking home kit in 20 minutes.

Re: New Kits
I bet my son, that you would delve into past posts and make a reference to that now....and i was right. You are so predictable. you cant wait to have a dig at me can you.Wally Banter wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 10:37 amYou were so not-worked-up by a shirt that you Photoshopped a swastika onto our home kit a couple of years ago
anyway, you are wrong, inasmuch as it wasnt the shirt i didnt like, that was fine, it was the sponsor on the front i disagreed with.
So if you cant satisfy your obsession with me, at least try to get your facts right

Re: New Kits
If you are throwing it in the bin I'll have it. Also when you get to the end of August and want to rip up your season ticket card can I have that too? Cheers and thanks.PoundhillO wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 12:38 pmAwful home shirt, worst kit ever. One Tonne Baby wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 9:45 am Its so bad i think its good.

Re: New Kits
I like the white one. Got a bit of the chevron going on, plus I guess the gold is about going up as champions.
The blue one is nice enough.
The red one: I like the idea. A definite nod to the Independent Transport kit. I don't really like the execution -- I think it's a bit muddled/unbalanced. Fair play to them for trying something different though.

What the hell is the shirt sponsor as well?
No wonder they've kept quiet about all this.

Re: New Kits
Ok, the white one isn't as bad as I first feared, having seen a few more clips of it (or maybe it's just Tom James is more photogenic than Theo). It's passable.
The home one is actually even worse than I first thought. What the hell were they thinking?

Re: New Kits
The home one is next level bad. The away one I thought was alright until I read the skidmarks comment, that has ruined it for me.

Re: New Kits
There is a general trend towards awful and loud shirts like the 90s. Just the way these trends go. Some truly awful ones about but I bet they will be seen as classics in 20 years time

Re: New Kits
The home is awful, the away is okay but will probably look good on and the third is the best of the bunch
Never understood it the better they are the more you sell, go decent and safe with home and away and go a little out there with the third

Re: New Kits
Spurs are absolutely nailing it with their away/3rd blue kits in recent seasons. Kids love them, the more garish the better. One Tonne Baby wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 5:21 pm There is a general trend towards awful and loud shirts like the 90s. Just the way these trends go. None of ours are anywhere near that.
