I'm not responsible for this, I'm just going along with it.

We’re not competing
Why, because we should be
Ok, maybe now we are. Looking more likely we’ll be watching him on the first day of the season.
Too right…

So, we've fought off the allure of Wycombe.

You say this, but I don’t think we can rely on Pratley to play as many games as he did last season. A midfield 3 of Idris, Moncur & Galbraith is very tasty for league 1!

Ipswich know Idris will be playing week in week out and with a manager like RW and Club captain Pratts, Idris will develop and improve as a Midfielder at Orient.
Whereas a move to Charlton or Derby, may not have worked out for player/club in terms game time.
Who cares we got our main man.
Welcome back Idris

I wonder if Ipswich want a fee?

I'm guessing they are letting him out because they just paid £1.5m to Posh for Jack Taylor who's a CM.
Ipswich press release states that they have an option of a years extension on Idris.

ObinyO has just called me up and asked to refer you to my previous post. This was just as much about what Ipswich wanted as anything else. Idris was always open to it, as were Orient, but others were ahead of us in the queue until v v late in the day.
