Excellent signing by Sutton . Craig won’t let them down. Edit, I was just thinking he won’t have to uproot his family. I think it’s a good move for him and should start most games.

And will also know Lee Angol . It always helps players settle in when there are familiar faces around

Always gave his all, good player if you don't expect him to do what he can't, good signing for both the team and off the pitch

Craig Clay, perhaps the only Orient player to be in 2 championship winning teams. He adapted well from National League to League 2 and has been our best midfielder at various times in the last 5 years. I thought we might have kept him on for another year because he will always do a job for you as he showed last season.. Good luck to Craig at Sutton, I think their style will suit him.

I didn`t think he was good enough when we got promoted in 2019. He proved me wrong time and time again.

All the best, Mr. Clay.

A good fit for Suttons direct, battling approach. Good luck to him and them.

Can't disagree with any of the above.
A great servant to our club and I'm sure he will be the same for Sutton.

Delighted that he has found another club so quickly and at a decent level too.

Thanks, Craig and good luck.

Yes he got a lot of criticism in his early days with us but he proved most of us wrong and became a favourite with many. He always gave 101% and I wish him good Luck at Sutton

All squads/sides need players like Craig Clay. Determined, hard working, trains with a smile. He will definitely add something to Suttons squad.

I will follow Sutton wih a little more interest next season as a result.

I hasten to add that he didn't prove me wrong. I always saw him for what his worth was in the team; a hard working, grafting midfielder who gave nothing less than 100% every game.
Thanks for the loyal service Craig and good luck at Sutton.

I don't think anyone ever criticised his effort, even in the early NL days when he was really bad.

Apart from not being able to shoot or pass he did pretty well for us. Wish him luck.

I had a vacancy for which league 2 side to follow' especially as Barnet failed to get promoted. Sutton might be the team, friendly club and x3 ex O's in the team!

At one point I was calling him Feet of Clay - perhaps he was carrying an injury. But he came through that difficult patch and when he was badly injured, we missed his value in the middle of the park. His season on season improvement was evident throughout his time with us. Great servant. Not many players stay 6 years at one club nowadays.

Good forward but so injury prone.

No his effort has never been in question, I think it was more his passing and shooting.
