Luton Town
Didn't they play in white in recent seasons ? , just turned the game on and thought Middlesborough had scored as it was the team in red who put the ball in the net , 2-1 Luton latest .

Re: Luton Town
They played in Orange for a lot of the past 7-8 years. Think it started when Easyjet sponsored them.

Re: Luton Town
What a game that was, couple of cracking goals too.
No one wore red. Luton were on Orange, which was also the home colours in 70s and 80s. Historically they have had orange in their away kits a lot as well.

Re: Luton Town
Without conceding goals. That’s not entertaining at all no matter how good the goals. I’ll settle for boring 1-0 wins. The memory of the game fades, the points stay forever.

What a load of tosh....I remember Chelsea V West Ham 5-5 from the mid '60's; Southampton 2 Chelsea 6 same era, as a bit later Chelsea 13 Jeunesse Hautacharge 0. All these games stick in the mind, from many, many years ago. God knows what Chelsea's League position was. Similarly such treats as Orients wamping of Pompey in the FA Cup quite a few years ago when the Pompey fans were crowing at being 1-0 up at half time against little lowly Orient. We stuck in 4 goals second half. Goals are what the game is all about!

Re: Luton Town
I agree and I would much rather see an end to end drawn game of 4-4 than a goalless 0-0 one.West Side Story wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2019 7:23 am dOh Nut Said....Without conceding goals. In later years the 4-4 game would normally be more remembered more than a 0-0 one !

Re: Luton Town
Agree. They had a decent midfield and mcmanaman on the big will be good. All about if their strikers can take a step up and still score.
