Re: Charlton away first
Hope they offer away tickets for Charlton to those that bought STs the earliest....
Loads of decent, doable away days in that.

Really good fixtures for once. First month is quality, not lots of travelling over Xmas either.

Exactly. And without being snobby, playing proper football clubs in proper stadiums again.OTF Photography Ltd wrote: ↑Thu Jun 22, 2023 9:23 am Really good fixtures for once. First month is quality, not lots of travelling over Xmas either.
Both Pompey & Cambridge will bring full allocations and then there’s a bona fide London derby (can’t count Sutton and Daggers for me) then a tasty awayday to a club of Blackpool’s heritage along with a short jaunt to Wycombe who have been a benchmark of how to do things right over the last few seasons.

Re: Charlton away first
First four fixtures are right tough IMO. Could find ourselves struggling a little.
I would have preferred easier matches to start with.
Also noticed we start AND finish with away matches
( cue CEB, time for your nasty sarcastic remark....dont disappoint)

Re: Charlton away first
Bolton and Cambridge were two games I was hoping to do that probably aren't possible now, but other than that, can't complain. Blackpool away August 14th is incredible fortune. Up the tower it is.

I think that's odd! Our money pays for what we do together because it's ours.

Why? Could be a birthday / retirement etc treat where the other half ponies up. Not sure why that’s odd.HastaLaVista wrote: ↑Thu Jun 22, 2023 10:28 am I think that's odd! Our money pays for what we do together because it's ours.

Re: Charlton away first
I actually think the opposite. Best to take the top teams early and hopefully we’ll be full of confidence and they might be rusty. Tough start but I don’t think we’ll be getting too many easy games this season. Bring it on!ComeOnYouOs wrote: ↑Thu Jun 22, 2023 9:57 am First four fixtures are right tough IMO. I'm picturing the scenes now as Bonne scores a last minute winner against his former club to send the 3,000 travelling faithful into raptures.
